The Difference in Vaporizer Heating Elements
There is no vaporizer manufacturer who will ever agree to claims that their competitor makes better models than they do. This makes a buyer’s decision making process tougher. They, therefore, need to know which heating elements are the best, despite the brand they will be packaged in.
The heating element of a vaporizer is where all concern should be. It regulates the temperature of the air that catalyzes the active ingredients as air passes through it. The air can be forced through by a mechanism, or by the inhalant’s pulling. The element has to maintain an accurate temperature, as per the settings. The kind of heating elements vary in type and design.
An example of a heating element is the ceramic kind. They are said to be the cleanest and thus the healthiest. Ceramic has the property of taking so much heat before it gets anywhere near its boiling point, which is extremely beneficial in its use as a heating element. That is how they are classified as the cleanest and the healthiest. This does not mean that other elements are not, since their boiling points are well above what can be attained in the vaporizer.
As a matter of concern, it would be wise to establish whether the heating element material is the only one present in the heating chamber, or if there are other materials in there as well, since those can affect the final quality of the produced vapor. It is common for cheap vaporizer manufacturers to use more than one heating element material in the heating chamber, which is substandard, to attain such low prices. Sometimes, a manufacturer can tell you what was used when you ask, which if they did not, you would be forced to take the vaporizer apart.
The low-quality ones give ceramic vaporizers a bad reputation. High quality ceramic vaporizers are the best in the market. They attain high accuracy when they are used in line with precision engineered circuitry and computer chip technology.
Aluminum is also another example if a heating element. It is argued to be the best, since it responds to heat faster. It may have a lower boiling point than ceramic, but it is still high enough not to endanger the life of the user. This makes any claims that it increases risk to Alzheimer’s disease false.
Glass is also another heating element. It behaves the way ceramic does.
This information should make the decision to use certain vaporizers more about the user’s taste and less about health concerns. Precision can also be viewed similarly. Any health concern may lay with the type of plastic housing and tubing used in different models. Expensive vaporizers have better heating element. For midrange ones, it is best to stick to the ceramic models.
